Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are the children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Psalm 127:3-5

Skating
We get out to skate every day at least once a day....it's great having a rink in your backyard.
Leah is happily sporting her new "hot" pink laces...when I was telling her they were "hot" pink she reached down and touched the laces and said "Yeah, they are a little warm." I guess hot pink wasn't in her box of crayons! She also told me that they make her skate faster!.

Hockey Weekend - part 2
After leaving Potsdam we headed towards Lake Placid before going home. On our way we stopped in Saranac Lake to see them building this ice castle for their Winter Celebration weekends. We could see them harvesting the ice right from the lake and then using it to build the castle.
We then stopped in Lake Placid to skate and play hockey. There is a large area cleared off for skating. There were many people outside walking, skiing on the lake, skating, playing hockey, and enjoying the beautiful day! Isn't this a beautiful place to skate?? We had a great time this weekend!!Hockey Weekend
We recently took a trip up to Potsdam, NY to visit with Gramma Betty and watch some Clarkson hockey for the weekend.
We had a great time visiting with Gramma Betty. The kids loved watching the deer stealing the birds' food right in her backyard. We also enjoyed watching the Clarkson hockey team beat RPI and Union!!! Woohoo!!!
And everyone LOVED Leah's hat she got from Uncle Mark! She wore it all weekend and got comments from everyone!
