Thanks is what we give on Thanksgiving
Happy days with our family we have
Apple pie it's not about
Not about turkey either
King of England the Pilgrims didn't like
So they moved to America
Giving thanks is what they did
Indians were nice to them
Venison is what some people had
Indians taught them how to hunt
Nuts and berries they gathered
God helped the Pilgrims survive
