Potsdam Trip Part IV
On the way home on Sunday we stopped in Saranac Lake were they were building their ice castle for an upcoming winter festival. We were able to watch them cutting the ice from the lake and using it to build the castle and the "mini" castle.
No we didn't get to help. It's quite a big production. It takes them weeks to cut all the blocks and stack them and install lights etc. Someday we hope to be there when the Winter Carnival is actually going on.
