That's three 18" pickerel, a 15" pickerel, and a 19.5" pickerel. And the Pièce de résistance, a 3.5 lb largemouth bass. I could get into this.
Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are the children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Psalm 127:3-5

Ice fishing
The boys have been making me take them ice fishing a couple times a year for two or three years now. Two winters ago we caught 1 pickerel. Last year we went 3 or 4 times and caught none. Zero. Zilch. So you can imagine that I was pretty excited (sarcasm) to go this year. Well last Friday we went out and we had a good time. We caught 3 pickerel. Two were 17.5" and one was 14". The minimum length is 15", so we brought home 2. Well we went out again for a few hours this afternoon. Here's what we did:

Wow! Where did you go fishing? Looks like they were biting that day!
I can't publish that info, but if you ask Amy she'll tell you :p
Nice, we used to bring our skates but the ice was really rough, then again we seldom had a flooded rink, usually a pond. Did you cook them?
nICE work.
