It has become an annual tradition to go out of the pond at the Glendon's and help empty the duck boxes. Each year there are several duck eggs leftover that didn't hatch for some reason or another. The kids enjoy helping count these eggs and preparing the box for the upcoming season of duck eggs. They have learned that there is an awful odor to these not-fully-developed eggs, but this year they introduced Dad to this as it was his first year to join us.
Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are the children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Psalm 127:3-5
